7 Things you really DON’T need to know about moi.
I’m always up for a bit of irreverency so after eduguru and helper to the hoards Sue Waters tagged me for next in, whilst on holidays no less, well who was I to disappoint?
Here are my ‘7 things you really don’t need to know about me.’
- Adora Rum Truffles are ace numero uno. Yummy in the extreme, shelf life = minimal.
- My trusty steed is a 05Dakar650, my ADV nickname is FSOD an Adora prize awaits the 1st codebreaker
- Luceat Lux Vestra was my high school motto. Wish they had of practiced what they preached.
- VH1971 770 4 speed 265ci sky blue Valiant Charger was my BEST car ever owned. Oh sweet hemi + 600 Holley music.
- 2007 ANU award was the best teaching recognition ever, scary but good. Thanks Ben. (Your ‘esky’ aka the museum, awaits a grand opening in 2009, It’s where all the cool history stuff goes my students tell me).
- Spent 7 years as an APC driver with 12/16th HRL B Squadron, Chauvel Depot Muswellbrook. Loved every minute of it.
- A single malt tour of the British Isles finest distilleries is a planned retirement indulgence. Thank my sister for dreaming that one up.

My favorite car? Well there was the Renault that used to stall if you took foot off the accelerator so you had to heel and toe going around corners. Then there was my trusty Corona that had teaspoons in the back windows to stop them falling down
Now this will be interesting. Apparently Tomaz says he can’t blog until mid January because Darcy Moore told him he couldn’t. Does this mean Darcy can’t also?
That car was my cousin’s I’m sure of it…… or all Renault’s behaved like that.
Not sure what they’re up to but my guess is a self imposed blog disconnection. It’d be like cutting my arm off so no such rash promises were made from me.
BTW another ta muchly for help with avatar thingo, think its back now.
i learnt to drive in a renault. When i am tired I still to this day do my indicators and windscreen wipers in reverse. However I DID get good at coverting mph to kmph

As always those who help others the most are always busy. Thanks for your help in 2008, many of your ideas I’ve implemented at our place or will do in 2009 as the tools become available to DET NSW.
(BTW apology not needed, sheepishly admitting/remembering I forget to tell anyone I’d memed them till well after the event, busy with NYE and got sidetracked myself, der)
